Technology places a major role in human existence. Since the olden days, machines, devices and other new discoveries that have been developed have created huge impact in our lives. Over the years, a lot of those technological advancements have been made.

The Wheel

The wheel was invented in Mesopotamia around 3500 BC as a tool used in pottery. Three hundred years after, it was placed on a chariot and used in transportation. Now, the wheel has become a part of our daily lives. Not only is it found on cars, it’s also used in turbines and clocks.

Printing Press

In 1439, Johannes Gutenberg invented a machine that revolutionized the spread of knowledge and religion. He improved the already existing presses by allowing ink to be transferred into movable types to paper, and created the printing press. Before its creation, books were hand-written by monks.
